We have a slab :D

 Master bed, WIR and bathroom.

On the left is our bedroom, WIR and bathroom. In the middle is the front doors and hall way and on the left is the music room.
On the left is our front door, Hamish is standing at the entryway. On the right where the sand is will be the garage and where the slab starts is the music room.

 Backyard and main living area

This is the back corner of the house, a bedroom or two (Can't remember! LOL) are in the top left corner, with bathroom and toilet next to that and living area closer to the front.

I am in the kitchen, dad is where our patio/alfresco will be and the little kids are near our ensuite.

This will be our back/side yard, about where Jessie is we will put in a shed with a fence just in front of it.

I am standing kind of in the toilet in this photo, dad is in the laundry, Hamish is running in the living area, Makenzie is in the music (Theatre) room and Jessie is...possibly in the living area as well.

We have a flat block!

Steve and I went for a drive out to the block this afternoon, not expecting to see any change but we were bored at home and I always love to see the block. So it was a huge surprise to see it flat and rebar ready to go down!
It is great to see progress, it is starting to feel real now :)
Till next time,

Colours

I was cleaning out my bookshelf tonight and found all the samples of tiles and laminates so took some (Very shoddy) iphone pics to share :)
These ones are from at the tile store, I was trying to be sneaky so the old man working there didn't tell me off! hehe
Kids bathroom, wall, floor and feature tiles.

Kids bathroom wall tile, close up.

Our bathroom floor, wall and feature tiles. I am so in love with our bathroom, the kids was more practical than anything else, but ours is exactly what I wanted :) We have paid to get floor to ceiling tiles in both bathrooms too, we had them in our old old house and when we moved to the last house the tiles there only went halfway up the wall and I didn't love it, it showed up so many more marks! LOL
Our bathroom though, will have those squares of feature as 4 rows of little squares all the way around the room.

Our bathroom again, see how it has the strip at the top, we will have just that, not the feature squares as well.

This one is the sample tiles, don't know why but the pic is upside down! LOL Anyways, the cupboard doors are the solid brown colour and the benchtop is  the speckled lighter colour. I think you can see the browns in this picture better than the ones from the tile shop.

Kids bathroom samples, upside down again! Their bathroom is black and white, the cupboard doors are called "brushed silver" and the have a slight metallic sheen to them, the benchtop is a mottled black.
Kind of hard to get this picture to come out the right colour, this is our kitchen cupboards (The dark brown) and benchtops (The limestone look one) These are totally different to what I had imagined for the kitchen but I really like it now, we also have a metallic copper glass splashback to finish it all of.

This is another not great pic, although this time from my own stupidity! LOL These are sample colours of the front door, garage door, gutters and down pipes (The cream) and the roof (The blue) but they both were in my pocket and I washed them so the blue now looks more grey but you get the idea! LOL

That's all for now, hopefully I will be back in a couple of days with update pictures from the block :D

YAY!

Just quickly, we got a phone call today to say site-works are starting this weekend and the slab will go down next weekend!!!! YAY!!!!
I am so excited, I think I said in my last post that we were expecting it to take another 2-3 weeks so to have it going so quick is very exciting!
So, from this weekend there will be regular photo updates for you :)
